Grid service hosting supports traffic spike

More reliability for blogs and sites with traffic spikes using grid hosting service or not?!

With this new hosting called grid hosting, you can have traffic spikes, the idea is to not go over your allocated CPU and RAM of that month.
They use points to represent the usage the CPU and RAM usage.
A grid network is formed by clusters of servers working together; this is the new way of load balancing.
Remember that they are for traffic spikes, not for very high usage for long periods of time, because the price you have to pay will rise in that case, or the service will be closed based on the contract.
If you have high CPU and RAM usage applications, you should buy a dedicated server.
For example Godaddy offer grid hosting at 4.99 American dollars, for the first 3 months, after that will be 20$ because now is in beta stage this service.
Media Temple also offer grid hosting, but they had problems from some clients said, outages.
Grid hosting is a new service that will need some time to become more reliable than 2 servers interconnected for better load balancing.
