Microsoft special division Digital Crimes Unit and Kaspersky have taked down botnet network Kelihos
Technically speaking, Kaspersky is controlling now the botnet network Kelihos.
This botnet network, sent every day 3,2 millions of SPAM messages.
The danger is not over, because the vulnerabilities used by malware for infection still exist on that systems.
Principal suspects in the case Kelihos are Dominique Alexander Piatti, dotFREE Group SRO and John Does 1-22 that owns the domain names lewgdooi.cz.cc and cz.cc
used to control the botnet network. Interesting is the fact that Piatti has registered a few domain names used by MacDefender.
