Personal computer industry sales falling down
The personal computer giant Intel fights against recession of USA.
By selling more cheap laptops that have ATOM chip inside.
Using ATOM chip in the processors, Intel realize more sales, because the laptop computers that use it have lower prices because also the production cost of the ATOM chip is lower than other possibilities of chips.
USA recession affects AMD more than it affects INTEL?
From what I heard, AMD is after INTEL in sales, myself I use a AMD processor, I hope they will not have big financial problems.
AMD first quarter sales were under Wall Street projections.
Projected 1.62$ billion and they will make from what AMD said, 1.5$ billion.
Falling down sales is not the end of the world.
I think than in 2010 the recession will end in USA, and will not be a financial crisis like in the past, a lot of peoples to not have what to eat and so on.
USA is a very powerful country and can resolve the issue.
